Strengthening Health Through Research, Knowledge, and Innovation
Healthcare is built on knowledge.
Every decision made by a healthcare professional, every policy developed by a ministry, and every new treatment introduced into practice depends on access to reliable information and the ability to turn research into action.
This is why we are pleased to be taking part in The Second Forum of the E-Medical Library of the Ministry of Health, taking place on 30 September 2026 in Muscat, Oman.
The forum, themed “Transforming Healthcare Access Through Digital Knowledge and Innovation,” brings together healthcare leaders and experts to discuss how digital knowledge can support stronger healthcare systems and improve access to trusted medical information.
As part of the program, Kamran Kardan, Our Co-Founder, will present “Strengthening Health Through Research, Knowledge, and Innovation.”
Building healthcare systems around knowledge
At Zendy, our work has always been connected to one fundamental idea: access to knowledge can help societies make better-informed decisions and create opportunities for progress.
Healthcare makes this particularly important.
Medical research continues to grow at an enormous pace. New studies, clinical evidence, guidelines, technologies, and discoveries are published every day. For healthcare professionals and institutions, having access to this information is essential. Having the right infrastructure to discover, understand, and use it is equally important.
Digital libraries have an important role to play in this environment.
They provide a connection between healthcare professionals and the research they need. They can support continuous learning, strengthen evidence-based practice, and help institutions make better use of the knowledge available to them.
The opportunity ahead is to make this connection even stronger.
Connecting research with healthcare
Strong healthcare systems need more than clinical infrastructure.
They also need research, education, knowledge-sharing, and continuous professional development.
When healthcare professionals can access relevant research, they can continue learning throughout their careers. When institutions can connect their teams with trusted medical information, they can strengthen their research and education programs. When policymakers have access to high-quality evidence, research can contribute to more informed planning.
These connections create a knowledge ecosystem around healthcare.
The role of organizations working in digital knowledge is to help strengthen that ecosystem.
This requires collaboration between healthcare institutions, libraries, researchers, publishers, technology providers, and policymakers. Each has a role in making research more accessible, discoverable, and useful.
Looking ahead
The future of healthcare will continue to be shaped by research and innovation.
But the value of innovation ultimately depends on how effectively it helps people access and use knowledge.
This is the conversation we look forward to contributing to at The Second Forum of the E-Medical Library in Muscat.
Through “Strengthening Health Through Research, Knowledge, and Innovation,” Kamran Kardan will explore how research and knowledge can contribute to stronger healthcare systems, better access to trusted medical information, and continued learning across the healthcare sector.
We are looking forward to joining healthcare leaders and experts in Oman for a conversation about how digital knowledge and innovation can support the next stage of healthcare development.
