Zendy to Attend LIBER Annual Conference 2026 in Norway

We’re pleased to announce our participation in the 55th Annual Conference of the European Association of Research Libraries (LIBER), taking place from July 1–3, 2026, at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway.

Bringing together research librarians, library leaders, and information professionals from across Europe and beyond, LIBER is one of the most influential events in the academic library calendar. The conference provides a platform to discuss the future of research libraries, explore emerging technologies, and share ideas that support open, accessible, and impactful research.

As libraries continue to explore new ways to support researchers, students, and faculty, conversations around AI, discovery, accessibility, and responsible innovation have become increasingly important. Zendy looks forward to engaging with library professionals and demonstrating how AI-powered discovery tools can help institutions improve access to scholarly content while enhancing the research experience.

A LIBER Tradition Worth Knowing

A unique aspect of the LIBER Annual Conference is the symbolic “Passing of the Flag” ceremony. At the conclusion of each conference, the official LIBER flag is formally handed over to the next host institution. NTNU received the flag during the closing ceremony of the 2025 conference in Lausanne, Switzerland, marking the transition to Norway as host of the 55th edition of the event.

This long-standing tradition reflects the collaborative spirit of the LIBER community and the shared commitment of research libraries across Europe to advancing knowledge and innovation.
